PG Aluminium – Online Order Terms and Conditions

Payment

  • Online standard product orders require a full upfront payment.

Delivery

  • Our manufacturing lead time for standard products is typically a minimum of 10-15 working days from the date that payment is reflecting in our bank account. Lead times are dependent on workload and will be confirmed after receipt of your order.
  • Products not collected or delivered after 1 month from date of fabrication will incur a 10% risk and handling charge per month.
  • Products not collected or delivered after 3 months from date of fabrication will be sold and all client rights will be forfeited.
  • Responsibility for products transfers to the client upon handover (ex-factory or delivered). A competent client representative must be available to accept product handover. Quality and quantity to be checked and signed for on delivery note.

Quality Guaranteed

  • PG Aluminium Johannesburg North guarantees all its products for a period of 12 months against latent defects and workmanship.
  • Products are designed to conform to national building standards and AAAMSA standards.
  • Glazing according to SA Glazing standards.
  • Intruderprufe® glazing carries a 15-year warranty.
  • Powder coated and anodised finishes carry a 10 year guarantee (refer relevant SABS Code).
  • Hardware warranties differ from brand to brand and are subject to the specific application.

Refunds & Returns

At PG Aluminium we are committed to 100% customer satisfaction. If you are not satisfied with your products, we are here to help.

Changed your mind?

    • You can return your product within 5 days to our factory in Johannesburg, regardless of the chosen delivery method.
    • Returns will be refunded or exchanged if unused, undamaged and in its original packaging and condition with your original proof of purchase.
    • Any costs incurred during to return the products to a saleable condition will be subtracted from the refund amount.

Defective/Damaged products

  • Defective or damaged products will be assessed to determine the best corrective measures – please contact our Sales Office.
  • Defective products will be repaired, replaced or refunded.
  • You have up to 6 months after receiving the products to report a defect.

Products that cannot be returned or refunded

  • Products that were customized to your specific requirements
  • Items damaged after collection or delivery and acceptance
  • Products not used, assembled and installed according to user manuals and generally accepted fenestration installation methods.

The refund process

  • EFT payments are subject to verification of your banking details and take up to 10 days to reflect in your bank account.
  • A 4% charge will be applied on all refunds to cover bank transaction related costs.
